Usk Insieme per il clima

We formally constituted as a group in December 2022, but we had our first community gathering in May 2022 bringing together 60+ people from the local area.

We hold regular meetings and events that are about collaboration, building partnerships, ideas generation, learning, and support. Our areas of focus are: Local Sustainable Food Production; Active Travel; Biodiversity Loss; Environmental Pollution; and Young People.

We have three active projects:

Please Eat the Garden – a community garden project

Together for the Pies -a project that harvests, shares, cooks, and juices surplus fruit and veg which may otherwise go to waste in Usk.

Together for the Wild – raising awareness of biodiversity loss through events and talks.

We have a membership of about 30 people.
