Usk Together for the Climate

Constituímo-nos formalmente como um grupo em dezembro de 2022, mas tivemos o nosso primeiro encontro comunitário em maio de 2022, reunindo mais de 60 pessoas da zona local.

We hold regular meetings and events that are about collaboration, building partnerships, ideas generation, learning, and support. Our areas of focus are: Local Sustainable Food Production; Active Travel; Biodiversity Loss; Environmental Pollution; and Young People.

We have three active projects:

Please Eat the Garden – a community garden project

Together for the Pies -a project that harvests, shares, cooks, and juices surplus fruit and veg which may otherwise go to waste in Usk.

Together for the Wild – raising awareness of biodiversity loss through events and talks.

We have a membership of about 30 people.
