TTH的使命是通过以下方式打造更具韧性的社区：

Providing education and expanding awareness of peak oil and climate change; Awakening a responsibility for food, transportation, fuel and social networks; Strengthening connections between local organizations, businesses and government; and, Fostering opportunities that engage people to work together with greater harmony and mutual respect.
