Transition Kommuniti is the renamed and reactivated successor to Transition Kollaborative in the City of Joondalup. It now sits within Kommuniti HQ as an open pathway for localisation, resilience, regenerative practice, learning, and practical community action. Wider Kommuniti HQ activity engages a much broader local network, but these figures refer only to Transition-specific activity.”

Transition Kommuniti is being reactivated within Kommuniti HQ as an open pathway for localisation, resilience, regenerative practice, and practical community action. Current activity connects with existing Kommuniti HQ work, including neighbourhood gatherings, community wellbeing, local networks, circular and sharing practices, and the emerging Joondalup Civic Wealth Architecture. We are intentionally rebuilding at the speed of participation rather than presenting activity that does not yet exist.

Transition Kommuniti is a local pathway within Kommuniti HQ for people interested in localisation, resilience, regenerative practice and practical community transition across the City of Joondalup and surrounding areas.

We are part of the wider Transition movement and draw on the knowledge, tools and experience developed by Transition Network, Transition Australia and communities around the world.

Our approach begins with people, relationships and place. We create opportunities to learn together, connect with neighbours, explore local assets and ideas, and turn knowledge into practical action.

Transition Kommuniti is not a separate committee people must join or a fixed program everyone must follow. It is an open pathway into learning, participation and local projects for those who choose to take part.

Through Kommuniti HQ, members can connect with Study Classes, Transition resources, localisation conversations, practical projects and other pathways that strengthen community resilience, local capability and shared prosperity.
