阳光坡过渡期

I am interested in being a part of a local Transition Initiative.  I’d like to find a local group of like-minded individuals and start.  I have contacts with the Sunnyslope Village Alliance (the SVA) and Sunnyslope Historical Society.  The SVA is putting together a community garden, and I am planning on making one of the plots a “Children’s Garden” over at Mountain View Park.  I need people to help out with this.  I am interested in gardening, water conservation, trapment and gray water use, solar panels, reducing dependence on consumerism, rethinking waste, microlivestock, food preservation, sourcing everything local, avoiding most plastic, environmental issues and rethinking the economy.  I’ve run a local business for over 8 years.  I think a food coop here would be a good idea, although it could start as a buying club.  Please contact me.
