Перехід Константин

Парафія "Перехідний Костянтин" розташована в селі Костянтин, поблизу Фалмута в Корнуоллі. Під час розробки парафіяльного плану в 2008 році стало зрозуміло, що в громаді існує сильне відчуття того, що вона повинна досягати прогресу в усіх темах, які зараз асоціюються з рухом Переходу - так була створена місцева група Переходу.

З тих пір група, мабуть, найбільш відома на місцевому рівні завдяки проведенню щомісячного фермерського ринку, який був заснований кілька років тому і продовжує працювати донині. Було проведено багато інших заходів, від проведення кампаній з утеплення до показу таких фільмів, як "В гонитві за льодом" і нещодавнього "Це все змінює", а також встановлення гідравлічного плунжерного насоса, зробленого своїми руками, на користь місцевих власників земельних ділянок.

The Transition group:

Facilitated the installation of a 4kW Solar PV system on the local Pre-School eco-building. It was also responsible for the revamping of a community newsletter into the Constant Times. This is now published in paper format and distributed throughout the community – as well as in electronic format at https://constantinecornwall.com Has a food sub-group that runs a Food Waste Stall that distributes excess food collected from local supermarkets – that would otherwise go to landfill. Holds the lease to the Glebe Woods  in the heart of the village. The group is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of this wild area of woodland. Organises topical film nights with discussion  at the local Tolmen Centre. Has started running Climate Cafes to raise awareness of Climate Change – in conjunction with Cornwall Climate Action Network (CCAN)

The group meet regularly throughout the year.
