Södra Lake Tahoe

We are a local climate change group in Lake Tahoe working to make our Tahoe communities as climate friendly and resilient as possible. In addition to our local efforts we connect our members to statewide and national opportunities to effect climate change policy through strategic calls to action. These opportunities include working with national organizations such as the Climate Change Lobby, 350.org, the Climate Reality Project, and other national, regional and local environmental organizations to lobby for progressive climate change policies and to protest and defeat policies and decisions antithetical to achieving climate change emission reduction targets. We are non-partisan and look to build partnerships with any local group or organization that recognizes the threat of climate change and is seeking opportunities to take action.
