Totnes

Transition Town Totnes (TTT) unleashed in 2006, focussed initially on building resilience in response to peak oil and creating an Energy Descent Action Plan for the town, we have since created & supported dozens of projects across the themes of Transition (food, energy, housing, inner transition, etc.).

We often have around 10-12 projects running, some as one-off big events (Open Eco Homes, Local Entrepreneur Forum), some as long term services (Totnes Climate Hub, Reconomy Centre, Incredible Edible), and some as periodic projects (as of 2025, Totnes Grows Flax, 30×30, and the Community Resilience Forums).

Projects that have come through TTT include Totnes Renewable Energy Society, Transition Homes CLT, and Caring Town Totnes.
