As part of the worldwide ‘Transition Movement’, Transition Town Romsey (TTR) was formed in 2009 to address the twin issues of peak oil and climate change.  Over the years, the approach has changed from one of helping to increase awareness of these two issues, to suggesting ways that local people can personally help combat climate change.

We believe there are positive ways we can make our local community resilient to the changes ahead – and the result will be a even nicer place to live!
