Omställning Uppsala has existed for about 14 years, and an active FB group was created about 13 years ago. The group was active for about a year then became dormant as everyone became busy and focused on other things.
Then in 2024 the Swedish Transition Network (Omställningsnätverket) held the annual Swedish Transition conference (Omställningskonferensen) in Uppsala. As a result of that conference (which was attended by around 200 people from all over Sweden (and had 1 speaker from Transition Italia), Omställning Uppsala has slowly and gradually started to wake up and start moving again. Now the time has come for Transition Uppsala to ställa om på riktig! :)

Omställning Uppsala (Transition Uppsala) is a group which now has re-emerging after a long period of hibernation and inactivity. There are also a few small local Omställning groups around (the edges of) Uppsala, for example Omställning Hågaby and Omställning Sunnersta.
