Greener Derby

Greener Derby is a community-led Transition Group dedicated to creating a more sustainable, resilient and environmentally responsible future for Derby. The group brings people together to support nature, encourage local action and strengthen community connections through education, practical projects and volunteering opportunities. Greener Derby promotes environmental awareness, biodiversity, sustainable living and climate action by engaging residents, schools, community organisations and local partners. Through workshops, events, campaigns and hands-on activities, the group helps people learn new skills, share knowledge and take positive action for the benefit of both local communities and the natural environment.
