Your trainer/facilitator bio
I’ve always felt attracted and knew the importance of community, collaboration and co-creation in generating positive transformations. I started as a landscape architect and an active citizen, organizing with friends swap markets, artistic circles, and complementary coins in the city of Porto. My work as a facilitator began in 2015 after receiving training in Open Space Technology by Yaari Pannwitz. I took that tool into my work and relationship with grassroot movements, NGO’s and municipalities. I’ve also received training in the Local Transformation Toolkit (by the Municipalities in Transition project), Permaculture design (by the Permaculture Association), Social Innovation for Resilient Cities (by GEN and Findhorn foundation) and Sociocracy 3.0 (by Orla Design). For ten years now I’ve complemented these activities with personal and community development deeper dives, by becoming a co-creator of the Awakened Life Project and a co-founder of Porto Desperto, leading meditation sessions open to the community.
At the moment I am a project manager in ECOLISE and a co-creator and facilitator of its Communities for Future Ecosystem of communities of Practice. I am also a project officer in the Municipalities in Transition project, and a co-facilitator of it’s Tutors circle.
