Filipa Pimentel
Your trainer/facilitator bio
Filipa is a Portuguese forest scientist by training. In 2000, she went to Brussels to join an internship at the European Commission and worked in several EU Institutions and organisations related to sustainable development as a political adviser. After 10 years of work related to EU policy, she quit her job to dedicate herself fully to the Transition Movement. Filipa was the initiator of AJUDADA, an experimental community empowerment international event, under the theme of gift economy. She is currently living in Brussels but with a big piece of her heart in Portugal – she is a member of 2 neighbouring Transition Initiatives in Portugal – Origens and 5ªOficina. She is currently co-leading Transition Network.
Filipa is a member of the training circle of the Réseau Transition Belgique and she is actively training/facilitating in Portugal.
She is an accredited Sociocracy for All and Prosocial World facilitator and she was trained by International Futures Forum (Competence in Complexity).
