Our area stretches across two counties and includes over forty parishes.  There are many excellent organisations already here including the Blackdown Hills AONB, the Blackdown Hills Business Association, the Blackdown Hills Eco Hub and the Blackdown Hills Support Group.  We hope that by working together and sharing resources we help to protect our social and geographical landscape for now and all our tomorrows. To bring together all the existing groups and resources we formed the Blackdown Hills Transition Group to act as a hub. By supporting current initiatives and helping new ones to grow, by writing the transition articles in each parish magazine and offering transition training to members from each parish, we can all build on the fantastic community spirit and enterprise that already exists.
