We are residents of Monmouth County, NJ forming a Transition Initiative. Our mission is to create local, self sufficient, and sustainable communities. We seek to connect with individuals, organizations and businesses that recognize the need to become more resilient with our sourcing of food, renewable energy, skills and other resources. In response to the global challenges of climate change, economic hardships and dwindling supplies, we seek to raise awareness of our options for creating healthy, sustainable communities and to help implement them. We believe that by getting involved, taking action and re-localizing our communities, we can improve our health, prosperity, and happiness. We welcome your participation!
