We have a group promoting a wholesome, plant-based diet. A discussion group, similar to a reading group but we read non fiction books. We work closely with Low Carbon Hub and other organisations on designing and implementing a local energy plan.

Started in Jan 2009, nicknamed ‘GreenTEA’.

Our aim is to help local people to become more resilient to the effects of climate change, to reduce the pace of climate change by lowering greenhouse gas emissions and to encourage renewable energy generation.

We have a core group of 12 members and working groups looking at Waste, Food, Energy, Transport, Hearts&Minds. These groups have between six and sixteen members.

We publish a monthly newsletter ‘The Brew’ which is read by 540 ‘supporters’.
