Transition Amherst raises awareness of the challenges we face due to climate change, peak oil and economic instability.  We work to build local resilience by 1) encouraging skill-sharing and projects that lead to greater sustainability, 2) connecting local groups and people, and 3) bringing together our community’s resources and creativity to craft an inclusive path to a lower energy future.
