Revitalizing the project after some time in standby. There is hope that this too will be the start of a re-imagining of the Maitland community.

Still, the group remains – wishful that again the impulse will return to bring the energy to run the group. AS Kate and I head for a semi-retirement we will be ready to assist any person who has the will to enliven the activities that brought so much joy to us and the Maitland community all those years ago.

In 2025/2026 we are working with Hunter LETS and Permaculture Hunter with great involvement from both towards a better future. Every month w have a trading day with reskilling in clothing repair and tool maintenance.

We are not yet flying the Transition Towns banner but hopefully soon there will be an impulse to gather more completely.
