Update November 2025
Since November 2023 Transition Exmouth has been going through a process of ‘reawakening’ and in April 2024 we became a registered charity (becoming a CIO) with a (largely) new group of trustees. During 2024 we have been reconnecting with local partner organisations and affiliated community groups. For 2025 we have been focusing on developing projects and developing our membership processes, and we have a new group of trustees following our 2025 AGM. We have also launched Exmouth CAN, a community engagement engaging with residents of Exmouth via door knocking to increase climate and sustainable living awareness and action, increase awareness and membership of TrEx, and recruit volunteers for TrEx and other local groups.
We are welcoming new people who would like to join our core group or who would like to join as a trustee. We are also welcoming new members. At our core we have a very strong commitment to wellbeing and equity, diversity and inclusion.
