Our aim is to support the community of Cockermouth to tackle issues relating to climate change and food security.
We work with a network of community volunteers and partnerships in the Cockermouth area we have helped hundreds of local people:
- To grow and source more of their food locally
- And to turn their ideas and passions into new enterprises.
- To celebrate local traditions and develop community resilience
- Provided access to land at St. Helens for educational Forest School activities for the community.
Our current project is for a revolutionary land based educational resource and cooperative demonstration farm, based on regenerative principles. We aim to contribute to the Wellbeing and Resilience of our Local Communities and Wildlife by the renewed connection of People to Land-based Skills and Food Production.
