Our group has been active in Milton Keynes since 2013. Our core group meet monthly partly to overview and support our projects and partly to organise and manage our monthly themed social evenings which take place in central Milton Keynes, on the first Wednesday of each month . Our two main projects are a permaculture / community gardening group and a group that is promoting doughnut economics in our area. In 2018 we amended our name to Transition Town Milton Keynes to avoid confusion with the topic of gender transition. This coming year 2026 we are planning to work with Milton Keynes Climate Action Network to develop in interesting programme of events and activities that will take place during the national ‘Big Green Week ‘ in June .
