Transition Keynsham is a collective of individuals who have been inspired by the Transition movement and in particular the activities of Transition Bath. 

We joined this global phenomenon by planning a positive future for Keynsham in a world without cheap energy, aiming to help build a more localised economy, collect and develop traditional and modern skills, and re-establish local resource resilience for the well-being of everyone. Acting local, thinking global!

To date we have guerilla gardened, started a community veg plot, held regular free bike maintenance sessions at the local farmers market, set up a local food coop, started a garden share scheme – matching unused gardens with gardeners, started a monthly stitch and bitch group, advised local community groups of their energy use and much, much more!
