Transition Scilly is a community group that aims to promote actions that move us all towards a low carbon future with a happy and healthy society.

We run a Community Orchard at Trenoweth on St Mary’s, with over 70 trees, mostly apples, including the rare and native Scilly Pearl.

Scilly Local Food is a website we set up to promote local food on the Islands, and it hosts an online Directory https://scillylocalfood.org.uk/

We are actively engaged with wider discussions to increase the amount of renewable energy generated on Scilly. The Council of the Isles of Scilly declared a Climate Emergency in 2019, which we fully support.
