Chippewa Valley/Eau Claire WI Transitioning Group

Chippewa Valley/Eau Claire Wisconsin Transitioning Group is a group of area residents from the cities of Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, and rural Eau Claire, Dunn and Chippewa Counties who joined together following a discussion course held at our public library. The discussion course followed a study guide based on Rob Hopkins’ Transition Handbook. Our group is currently working on general vision and mission statements. The Chippewa Valley Transitioning Group is made up of the following sub-groups: Affordable Solar, Awareness, East Side Neighborhood, Climate Action Now (CAN), Fiber Arts, Youth Eco-Teams Education, Permaculture, and Community Greenhouse. Some of these groups are holding regular meetings twice a month. We are meeting every other month for a group pot-luck and education activity.
