Transition Town Dorchester 

At Transition Town Dorchester we have a community farm, where we cultivate vegetables in raised beds and a large polytunnel.  We also have a community orchard, with 60 heritage apple trees, poultry (geese and hens), bees and a large wildlife pond.  We have workdays on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday mornings, and hold several events through the year, including apple days in September and wassailing in January.  The farm is used as a resource by several community groups and institutions.
