We have a big focus on waste reduction utilising our Wash Against Waste Trailer at local events, local Recycling collection Hubs and Repair Cafes.
Transition Bridgetown Inc was formed in 2019. We were dismayed at the new Federal elections where our very conservative Liberal Party was elected with very little reference given to addressing the effects of Climate Change. We have been raising awareness in our community about becoming resilient at a local level and working together with our local shire and community groups to focus on how we can network together. Our Transition Towns principles are building momentum and we are really pleased with our standing in the community
