Siirtymäkaupunki Toyonaka

This is Transition Town Toyonaka (Ashita no Kurashi Toyonaka), which is downsizing in Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture. Activities began in 2014 by holding regular movie screenings in the city. We hold the ``Onigiri Party' when we have a chance to gather a lot of people, where we cook a lot of rice and all the participants make and eat onigiri (rice balls) to share the richness of our soul food. . Some member of the team who helps farmers as a hobby,work the ``Serious Miso Club'' grows soybeans, brews miso, and another one the ``Goma Club'' grows and admires sesame seeds. We are working on downsizing but in process.
