Iver Villages Together connects groups, families, and individuals to re-imagine our community and acting for the common good on the big challenges we are facing. Our practical action on Nature, Education, Local Economy, Energy and Food helps make our community more resilient, fairer, healthier with restored agency and power better equipped to face the future – together Our vision is a greener and healthier neighbourhood with inspiring voluntary projects – large and small - that together have a big impact on the wellbeing and attitudes of our community. Our mission is to bring together active and aspiring volunteers from across the Ivers in a safe and friendly space to inspire and support inclusive and accessible projects that make our community a more caring, happier and thriving place to live. Our Projects Theme for 2025 /26 is Nature Recovery & Wellbeing #Small Acts, Big Impacts IVT is part of the wider UK based Transition Together charity. Iver Villages Together – lokal handeln, global denken

Iver Villages Together (auch bekannt als Iver Villages Transition) ist eine Gruppe von Anwohnern, die sich für andere groß angelegte, von der Gemeinde initiierte Projekte engagieren, darunter bezahlbarer Wohnraum und die Wiederansiedlung von Wildtieren.

Diese Projekte sind noch nicht abgeschlossen.

Inspiriert von der Transition-Bewegung möchten wir parallel dazu mehrere kleinere Projekte erkunden, die dazu beitragen, den Enthusiasmus und den Zusammenhalt dieser Gruppen aufrechtzuerhalten und gleichzeitig dringende lokale Bedürfnisse zu befriedigen und das vorhandene soziale Kapital zu stärken.

We currently have a lively – approx 45 strong -WhatsApp group created as a safe place to freely and without judgement – off Facebook therefore ! – to explore high social and environmental value -low cost- high engagement- low carbon – projects which could be run with just two or three members supported by the wider group.

Nach unserer Gründung haben wir uns auf Naturerholung und Wohlbefinden als Schwerpunkt für mehrere kleine Mikroprojekte festgelegt. Diese haben gemeinsam, dass sie minimale Umweltschäden, geringe Kosten (Zeit und Geld) sowie maximale Selbstbestimmung und maximale Auswirkungen auf die Gemeinschaft mit sich bringen.

These have included so far: Green-Grow-Boxes , Green-Art-Boxes …Wellbeing Boxes and Help 4 Households and Carers & Carer WApp mutual support groups.

Working with local Residents Associations we are now making plans for an Ivers Community Assembly the first stage of which is the formation of 3 Village Panels for each of the villages to co-design that assembly and how to move ot forward.

Most recently and building upon our version of Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) we now have more ambitious project plans for Tiny Forests, Community Woodland, Gardens and Orchards and a Time Bank & Credit Union .
