Phoenixville Area Transition works to build community resilience to climate impacts by moving to localize the economy and culture.  We do this by connecting people, groups, and the natural world.  We formed in Spring of 2018 and have a website in progress at www.pat.community.  Our active work groups are Community Supported Food, Films, Inner Transition, and Living Landscapes.  One of our missions is to connect like-minded groups in the area and we we have network page on our website with a growing number of these.  We’ve done several Film/Forums at our iconic community theatre, and a hugely successful Summer Solstice Celebration.  We appreciate the mentoring we’ve enjoyed from nearby Transition Town Media, PA, and from Transition US.
