Adelaide Hills

Transition Adelaide Hills (TAH) formed in 2009 to help our region move towards a more resilient and sustainable future. We are an active group of local people focussed on grassroots, community solutions.

We acknowledge the Peramangk and Kaurna peoples, traditional owners of the Adelaide Hills region for many thousands of years, and we acknowledge their spiritual connection to country.

The initiating groups, Adelaide Hills Climate Action Group (www.adelaidehillsclimateaction.org) and Adelaide Hills Sustainable Communities, hosted various film and discussion nights as well as stalls at local fairs to promote awareness of climate change and related sustainability issues. Transition Adelaide Hills has continued hosting these events and supporting, initiating and/or promoting other local community projects.
